After competing internationally for many years, Melanie still enjoys rowing but has also discovered that racing can be fun even when you’re not in the boat.

Since 2022, Melanie manages the Vienna Regatta Office and enjoys the new challenges this task entails.

was U23 world champion and, together with his brother Paul, a participant in the Olympic Games in RIO 2016.

His active sports career ended in 2020, but he continues to compete for his rowing club STAW and is now he is at WRV Vice President Sport.

Now, however, he has taken over the organisation of the Vienna International Rowing Regatta since 2022 together with Manuel and his dedicated team.

is a passionate rower who not only enjoys competing at regattas, but also works as an umpire to ensure safety and fairness on the water. Hasmik has been part of the VIRR team since 2022 and manages the Vienna Regatta Office and coordinates the umpires.

Rowing is also an important part of his life. He became junior champion in the eight and has been rowing for the 1st Vienna Rowing Club LIA since 2016.

Due to his love of rowing and his technical know-how, he became the WRV's equipment manager. He brings his technical experience to many parts of the

regatta management. He is also responsible for reliable timekeeping and will implement this with the team at the VIRR.
